Fulton Homes is a homebuilder headquartered in Tempe, Arizona. It is named after its founder, Ira A. Fulton.

Fulton Homes is both a new home builder and developer of communities. The company will typically take a large piece of land in great locations, that are close to shopping, schools, and other amenities. The master planned communities usually have between 400 and 2200 homesites, with three to five different series of homes. By building such large communities, they can offer more landscaping, more open spaces, superior amenities including aquatic centers, clubhouses, walking and jogging trails, ramadas, tot lots, basketball courts, volleyball courts, boce ball, horseshoes, and pickle ball. The company has built over 100 communities in the Phoenix area, most of which are located in the East Valley. Fulton Homes builds between 500 to 900 homes per year, and they are often credited for being the most technologically advanced builder in the country, Ira A, Fulton is the largest Philanthropist in Arizona, and his $200 million donation to Arizona State University resulted in the College of Engineering being named after him, and the College of Education, being named after his late wife, Mary Lou. The company is also known for the tremendous generosity in funding many other worthwhile endeavors mostly in areas of education and water safety. The current CEO of Fulton Homes is Ira Fulton's son, Doug Fulton.

Energy Star features

In October 2010, Fulton Homes became the first builder in Arizona to build all of its homes to Energy Star Version 3.0 standards, with inspections done by a third party. Some energy-efficient features that Fulton has incorporated in homes since 2010 include a Louisiana-Pacific TechShield radiant barrier to deflect heat from the attic, tinted Low-E vinyl-framed windows to reduce heat and UV rays from entering the home, and a 16 SEER Energy Star qualified Carrier air conditioning system as standard. In 2013, Fulton Homes was awarded the Energy Star Leadership in Housing Award by the United States Environmental Protection Agency. In 2014 Fulton Homes started building all of their homes to Indoor airPLUS standards. Indoor airPLUS is sponsored by the Environmental Protection Association, and awarded Fulton Homes with the Indoor airPLUS Leader Award in 2015, 2016 and 2017. Fulton Homes was also awarded Energy Star's Partner of the Year Award in 2015, 2016 and 2017. They are the only homebuilder in the country with the distinction of winning both awards three years in a row.
